we all would give up life / to take you out of yours
it's such a simple plight / it's you we all adore
they told you it was right / it was always only lies / you only come out at night

I wonder why you could be such a fool to life
as it goes by your lazy eyes you fall behind / you miss the one

you're waking cold and still / you're shaking out of this
into a hazy light / come on we're all outside / it's time to leave it you'll be fine

as it turns out / what once was good could kill you now
always searching never finding perhaps you should get help / you still miss the one
